The CFY Youth Clay Shooting Program is a unique leadership and character-building initiative launched by Clemence Youth Foundation (CYF) since 2021 to introduce young participants to the sport of clay shooting in a safe, structured, and supportive environment. This program is designed for youth ages 10 and up, with a focus not only on developing technical shooting skills, but more importantly, on cultivating key values such as discipline, focus, responsibility, and self-confidence.
The purpose of this program is to engage youth in an outdoor, skill-based activity that emphasizes personal growth, mental resilience, and respect—for both equipment and others. Through hands-on training, guided instruction, and teamwork, participants learn far more than just marksmanship. They gain real-life tools that apply to leadership, goal-setting, and decision-making.
Clay shooting is a sport that requires discipline, patience, and precise attention to detail—all traits that are essential to success in life and leadership. By practicing under controlled conditions with trained mentors, youth participants are empowered to push their limits, stay focused under pressure, and build a sense of accountability.
The program includes: Safety training and equipment handling, Skill-based coaching sessions, Team and individual shooting practice, Mentorship from experienced instructors
All activities are supervised by certified licensed coach safety and trained volunteers to ensure a positive and secure experience for all participants.
At CYF, we believe that activities like clay shooting can provide meaningful life lessons and lifelong impact. Through this program, youth gain more than just marksmanship—they discover the value of discipline, character, and leadership in action.
