Amanda Zhang is a senior at Cypress Woods High School and will attend Rice University in the fall. In her free time, she enjoys illustrating and writing. She supports her community by running the Heartwarming Senior Letters Project and volunteering for her school’s debate team. Amanda has served as the debate captain at Cy Woods for four consecutive years, qualified for both TFA and UIL State every year, and participated in numerous tournaments throughout high school.
She is passionate about community service and founded the Heartwarming Senior Letters Project—an initiative that sends handmade cards to seniors in nursing homes to bring them comfort and joy.
Amanda joined CYF because she believes in the power of youth-led impact and is excited to help others turn their compassion into meaningful action.
